On November 25, the second event of our series of concerts in Kingston’s All Saints and St Andrews church took place. We had the privilege of playing an exciting programme of Trio Sonatas, with two of Cambridge’s finest experts in the field of baroque music, Rachel Stroud and Dan Tidhar. This was the programme:
Georg Philipp Telemann: Gulliver Suite for two violins
Arcangelo Corelli Ciacconna, from Sonate da camera, op.2
Henry Purcell Chacony, from Ten Sonatas in Four Parts
Antonio Vivaldi “La Follia”, from 12 Trio Sonatas, op.1
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Trio Sonata C Minor, “Sanguineus et Melancholicus”
Georg Philipp Telemann Paris Quartet E Minor
